Steve’s Real Food Lamu is a delicious freeze-dried raw dog food made with lamb and emu meat. Lamb is a novel protein that creates mealtime excitement for picky eaters, and it’s easily digestible for pets with sensitive stomachs. Emu is lean, red meat that is also considered a novel protein. The American Heart Association recognizes emu meat as a healthy alternative to beef, with a higher count of iron, protein, and vitamin c; and lower in cholesterol, fat, and calories. Freeze-dried Lamu is complete and balanced for all stages of life, and can be fed to dogs and cats.

Rehydrating freeze-dried raw food is recommended to help with digestion. We designed our food to be soft and easy to rehydrate. To rehydrate, simply follow steps 1-3:

1. Measure the freeze-dry raw food and pour it into your pet’s bowl
2. Rehydrate the food by adding water, bone broth, or Goat milk on top of the food. Wait about 5 mins for the liquid to absorb into the food. If you crumble the food, it will absorb faster.
3. Serve the food to your pet

Food Storage:

Keep food in a cool place away from direct light. Unopened bags are good for up to 2 years. Opened bags should be used within 30 days.
